Student Resources Checklist

Ready for the Semester?

Use our student checklist for a smooth start to your next semester.

Review Your Normandale ID

The NCC card is your official Normandale student identification. Always carry it while you’re on campus. ID Card Services can help replace or update your card. Visit the Services Desk in the Kopp Student Center.

Check Your Student E-mail Account

Normandale uses your student e-mail as the primary means of communication. All students should check their email often. Remember, you'll need your StarID and password to access your e-mail.

Contact the ITS Help Desk if you run into trouble.

Save Your Course Schedule

Visit eServices to print and save your course schedule. Make sure your schedule is accurate and you understand how your classes will be taught. As a reminder, eServices is also where you go to:

  • Register for classes
  • Check your grades
  • Change your contact info
  • Submit a major change
  • Drop or withdraw classes

Order Textbooks

Once you have a copy of your schedule, order your textbooks online through the Normandale Bookstore website. The Bookstore offers step-by-step instructions on how to place an order. Pay for books with a credit card or add it to your tuition and fees bill through Book Charging.

Pay Your Tuition / Sign Up for a Payment Plan

When you register for classes, you are responsible for the tuition and fees. Discuss your payment arrangement options or sign up for a payment plan with Student Services. You can view your bill and make payments online through eServices.

Make Schedule Changes

Discuss last-minute changes with an academic advisor. They can help you drop and add classes, change your schedule and answer course placement questions.

Advising and Counseling appointments are available on weekdays by Zoom and phone. Schedule an appointment online or access help through live chat. You'll need your StarID or Tech ID number.
