Fall semester begins on Monday, August 24! To help you get off to a successful start, the Advising, Counseling & Career Center team will offer same-day services through August 28 - no appointment needed.
Our goal is to get you get ready for fall semester as quickly as possible. Enrolled and returning students should use same-day advising services for quick help for:
New students looking to enroll for their first semester should sign up for an Enrollment One Stop orientation event. Questions about new student orientation can go to orientation@normandale.edu.
Again, no appointment is needed for Express Advising service hours and location are below. Appointments will resume Monday, August 31.

These sessions are usually 10-15 minutes, and designed for quick and timely questions (such as placement questions, registration issues, or course concerns) for current students and students who have completed the orientation process.
For on campus express advising, stop by the Student Services Main Desk near the College Services main entrance; bring your photo ID, StarID and password. For virtual express advising, log in using the Zoom link during posted times. Please check in at least 15 minutes before the end of service.
Normandale advisors work with students based on their planned majors and interests. Not sure? That’s okay! We work with all students from undecided to certain about what they want to pursue.

PSEO allows high school students to meet high school requirements while earning college credit. Our advisors help students enroll and get set up for success at Normandale, navigate college, and plan for completion of the MnTC, an associate's degree, or transfer into other colleges and universities. Students should be meeting with their high school guidance counselors to make sure they are staying on track to graduate from high school.
